It’s no secret that NASCAR is big business. The constant television and media coverage reminds us of this everyday. Racing can be appreciated by everybody and that’s probably why there’s over 100,000 people packing the stands every weekend to experience the burning rubber and twisted metal.

Economically, there’s more opportunity than ever to land a job in the racing industry. The NASCAR Technical Institute is one of the schools where you can develop the skills necessary to be one of the few that get to work on a pit crew for a race team.

To boost the number of professional technicians entering the work force, the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and UTI teamed up to open the first-ever NASCAR Technical Institute (NTI) in Mooresville, North Carolina: Race City, USA.

There’s a great deal of engineering and science that goes into tuning these cars for racing. If you don’t believe me then take the class and you’ll find out!
