They are the future of our country and fantasy sports. So what fantasy sports are college students playing these days? Turns out quite a few and the responses were as varied as the individuals we know are playing fantasy sports. In the University of Connecticut paper(subscription required), several students gave their opinions on what their favorite fantasy sports and least liked ones.

Based on their short survey I’ll tally up the results here:

Best fantasy sports: fantasy football (x2), fantasy horse racing (?), fantasy racing, fantasy basketball

Worst fantasy sports: fantasy hockey, fantasy tennis, fantasy golf, fantasy racing

No one mentioned baseball? Interesting. And fantasy horse racing? I knew it existed, but I would never think of anyone mentioning it as their favorite fantasy sport. That one just blew me away.
