Sports Prophet LLC has been selected to be a finalist for the FSTA Best In Innovation Award for its advanced fantasy sports drafting and player management software.

Sports Prophet’s system utilizes a proprietary blend of artificial intelligence, predictive analytics and data mining techniques to provide player projections with a level of accuracy previously unattainable, giving its users a significant advantage against other owners in their league.

The site currently features basketball and baseball and costs $49.95 for membership. The technology seems promising, but a subscription based model in a sea of free sites its a bit hard to swallow for a fantasy sports consumer. I would have liked a free trial account to test out, but unfortunately they don’t have one yet.
