A list of where I go to get my fantasy football information, by and large. Both pay and free sites are listed! Feel free to comment and/or add other links that you like to visit.
10. Fanball (www.fanball.com) - this is where I go to check the status of players on Sundays, particularly to see who’s gotten injured.
9. Football Injuries (www.footballinjuries.com) - I used to subscribe to this site and their claim to fame is that NFL coaches read their injury reports. I’m not sure if that’s true but the information here appears accurate and well-researched.
8. Fantasy Football Goat (http://fantasyfootballgoat.com) - Corey Koehler runs this blog that provides timely tips for fantasy football owners.
7. Fantasy Football Geeks (http://www.ffgeekblog.com) - two knowledgeable fellows run this blog that provides free advice on who to start/sit, waivers and much more.
6. Fantasy Football Librarian (http://fantasy-football-librarian.blogspot.com) - good blog that provides links to free information and articles on who to sit/start, waivers and more. A great resource.
5. Fantasy Guru (www.fantasyguru.com) - John Hansen does a great job with his news and analysis pay-site, I’ve been a subscriber for several years and even if he’s wrong, at least he backs up his opinions.
4. ESPN.com (www.espn.com) - Good number of free resources and additional information/articles/features if you pay the yearly “Insider” subscription fee.
3. Rotoworld (www.rotoworld.com) - free information, news, analysis from the well-known Roto family. The forums are also quite good.
2. Yahoo! Fantasy Sports (www.fantasysports.yahoo.com)- the unrivaled king when it comes to leagues (both pay and free), but the information on the site is pretty good. They have their own staff of writers and analysts, and they pull in player reports from Roto, Sportingnews, Fanball and others. You can also pull player stats up to see how the player has been doing over the course of the season. As ‘one stop shop’ as it gets!
1. Fantasy Sports Matrix (www.fantasysportsmatrix.com) - call me biased, but where else can you submit polls about who to start/sit, submit/read articles on your fantasy players, blog and forum message about fantasy football? You submit it, and the community responds. What’s more wise and democratic than that?
Happy Holidays eveyrone!
