We’ve all heard it before. Fantasy geek this, fantasy geek that. While fantasy naysayers such as Jim Rome or JT the Brick don’t play because it’s supposedly for losers and degenerates then I guess Cato June, LB for Tampa Bay, isn’t good enough either. June is a noted fantasy athlete and even drafted a team in ESPN’s Fantasy Draft Special. Or how about Maurice Jones-Drew, Mike Alstott, or Warrick Dunn? All whom appear in ESPN’s latest fantasy football commercials.

Clearly, fantasy sports is weaving itself into the mainstream fabric of sports as we know it. Fantasy football actually started this climb a few years ago, when you’d start to see television and radio shows dedicated to start or sit, sleepers, and busts.

Where does this leave all of the staunch opponents who can’t stand the 19+ million who play fantasy sports?

On the bandwagon, fighting to stay out of the basement in their fantasy league because they previously thought they were too cool to play fantasy sports.
