Is it the next stage in predicting fantasy sports and game results? Accuscore.com certainly thinks so. This site allows you to compare players, forecast your fantasy squad, forecast individual player performance, and also allows you to analyze the probability of a player reaching a particular statistic, e.g. TDs thrown, yardage rushed, etc.
According to its co-founder:
“The simulation models we have built for the various sports include player, team, and environmental conditions,” said Stephen Oh, VP of Product and co-Founder. “It’s like actually playing the game before it’s played, but instead of only playing the game once like other simulations out there, we play the game at least 10,000 times to get the most comprehensive picture of what will happen.”
This seems like an exciting development for fantasy sports and technology and a harbinger of what’s to come in the near future.
