One of the leading fantasy sports portals, Fanball.com, recently introduced their “new and improved” user interface. The announcement is dated in June but to the best of my memory these changes are rather new. Visiting the site today is when I noticed the new look.
At first glance I was shocked not to see the Newsbreakers section above the fold, so to speak. Personally, I thought this feature was one of the site’s highlights but obviously the Fanball staff did not share the same view or they would have kept the news box on the top half of the page.
Looks like they’re splitting Fanball into two areas: Fanball.com and Fanballnews.com. It’s all news to me but I guess I have to get used to it. To be honest, I preferred the old look of the site better as I felt more information was at my fingertips.

1I don’t like it. They should be able to do better than that.
