Under a new NFL media rule, media websites are given just 45 seconds per day to show NFL highlight clips. Obviously, this is going to bring about dramatic change.
Expect all NFL clips on YouTube (and all the like) to be wiped out in an effort to drive users to team’s official web sites. Yes, those same team websites that take 5 minutes to load in your browser because of all the erroneous ads, streaming content, etc.
I find it ironic that the NFL is on a mission to take their sport global (as the NBA has done) yet they’re implementing new measures such as this. This makes me think that the person steering the ship doesn’t really have a clue where it’s going.
