Capitalizing on the success of both “Dancing with the Stars” and fantasy sports in general, ABC.com has come up with an additional way in which fans of the show can participate. Called “fantasy dancing” the idea is familiar: you pick the dancing couple whom you think will do well each week and who will do horribly. ABC.com has a leaderboard so you can compare yourself to others. Although dancing as a sport is a somewhat dubious concept, there is no denying that the fantasy genre is spreading and expanding into the consciousness of the general public.
